Designing, Writing and Testing a Book and Study Guide for Formational Discipleship

by Les Galicinski

This dissertation reports on the development, writing and field testing of Loves’ Greatest Joy - a Closer Walk With God. It describes the objectives, the design and action research process in which two groups of participants read the book and contributed to its development.  The Outcomes and Analysis chapter (Chapter 5) contains detailed data and statistical analysis on the impact that reading the book and participating in the eight week study had on the participants.  A Spiritual Assessment Questionnaire was developed to measure the impact of the study on 38 categories of spiritual maturity. Detailed statistical analysis is included in the Appendices. Appendix J, the book itself, is not included.
